During the summer season, the Boardwalk comes alive with fireworks, concerts, and special events that make it a favorite gathering spot for both visitors and locals.
There are tons of places to eat and drink at the boardwalk! The Shuckin' Shack, Carolina Smokehouse, Crush and Grind, the world-famous Britt's Donuts, Hurricane Alley's and more. Find the perfect souvenir, beach gear, clothing and local art at one of the many shops.
For the best experience, visit the Boardwalk in the early evening to enjoy cooler temperatures, grab dinner, and stay for the weekly fireworks during the summer season. Parking fills quickly on peak nights, so plan to arrive a bit early.
