How do I reserve a property?

Booking is simple:

1. Enter your travel dates on our website
2. Select your preferred property
3. Click Book It Now to secure your stay

A deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 60 days require full payment at the time of booking. We accept Mastercard, VISA, AmEx, and Discover cards.

What time is Check In and Check Out?

Check-in: After 4:00 PM

Check-out: Before 10:00 AM

These times allow our team to professionally clean and inspect your property for the next guest.

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?

Accepted Answer

Because our team is preparing the home between guests — including cleaning, restocking, and inspections — early arrivals and late departures are rarely available. However, you're always welcome to ask and we'll do our best if scheduling allows.

Are linens and towel provided, or do I need to bring my own?

Yes — we've got you covered.

Every property includes:

- Bed sheets
- Bath towels
- Pillows and blankets
- Bedspreads
- Premier properties also include large beach towels.

Are pets allowed?

Select A1 properties are dog-friendly and allow:

Up to two small-to-medium dogs. Well-behaved pets only

How about parking?

Each property includes assigned parking spaces sized for standard vehicles.

Yes — you're close to everything.

Nearby essentials include:

Does a washer and dryer come with the unit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every A1 vacation rental includes an in-unit washer and dryer, plus a starter supply of laundry detergent for your convenience.

Do I need to bring my own household and kitchen supplies?

We provide a starter set of essentials, including:

- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Dish soap
- Dishwasher detergent
- Trash bags
- Cleaning supplies
- Laundry detergent

For extended stays, additional supplies can be purchased locally.

Do I need to bring my own beach gear?

Accepted Answer

Some of our properties come with beach chairs, boogie boards, and a beach umbrella. Please refer to the property information page to verify. If you'd like to rent beach chairs, a beach umbrella, highchair, large beach towels, etc. you may contact either Tony Silvagni Surf School and Rentals or Pleasure Island Rentals by phone or reserve online.

Is smoking allowed?

All A1 properties are strictly non-smoking, including: Inside the home, On decks and balconies, In stairwells.

Smoking is only permitted away from the building and parking areas. Evidence of smoking may result in additional cleaning charges.

Question 12

What about a hurricane? Can I get my money back?

Accepted Answer

If the State of North Carolina issues a mandatory evacuation, guests must comply and vacate the island.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at booking. Claims are handled directly through Generali Global Assistance.

What if I need to cancel my trip?

Accepted Answer

- 30+ days before arrival: 100% refund
- 15–29 days before arrival: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days: No refund

Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your trip investment. If you purchase Travel Insurance, you can file a claim with Generali Global Assistance for your lost payment.

What do we do if we notice anything broken or damaged during our visit? What if WE accidentally break or damage something during our stay?

- Something breaks during your stay
- If you purchased the Damage Protection Plan, report the damage promptly so we can assist.
